Flying

Today Jordon was jumping off the stairs with a plastic bag (like the grocery kind with handles) and to him it was like a parachute. Well it kind of looks like it would work..you know when it fills with air and all, but after a few hard landings he was getting the idea that something wasn't quite right. Kids are great and sometimes you have to sit back and let them do what they need to do (I did suggest not jumping off from higher than the 3rd stair).

Discussions

The boys were getting into it the other day in the van because Zander (3) said that God died in the water (He had just watched Veggie Tales Jonah) and Jordon (4) was tellling him that God died on a mountain..and it went back and forth and back and forth and back and forth and....well you know. It's nice to hear your children talk about those sort of things..even if it's not always theologically accurate. :)

Super Husband

I know I always post about my kids because I am with them ALL DAY EVERY DAY....but I have to mention how wonderful and amazing my husband is!!! He is such a servant and always is looking for ways to encourage me. He told me to apply for a mission trip to Peru this summer and "didn't give it a second thought because it's what you (I) have the heart for" What about the kids? ..I say. He'll manage.That's just one example of how he is looking to lift me up. LOVE.

Gymnastics

Jordon had such a good time during eight weeks of gymnastics. He's so strong and has great balance!

St. Patty's Day

Yesterday started off with green french-toast and bacon, then we made cupcakes with green frosting, and then we all dressed in green and headed over to our friends' the Pattisons for some potato soup. It was so fun! The kids colored pictures of leprichauns and we tapped our toes to Irish reels and jigs. Aren't we lucky?!

Love

Jordon has a realy special place in his heart for Baby Keziah. He doesn't even mind her sucking on his face. :)

Posessed Computer

Sorry about the triple post... Either my computer is posessed or I have NO technical (or bow hunting) skills. I'm gonna go with demon-filled computer. Yup.

Finished Product

I had some old, hard hamburger buns so we decided to make some bird feeders out of them. It's easy for the kids to spread on peanut-butter and dip it in seed. A fun, cold-weather project.
